Testimonial cards

Marketing or an individual does this whenever a good quote arrives. The card is quote, name, role, company, and an avatar slot. The set grows over time. After a brand tweak you will want the old cards to match the new ones.

This is a growing set. When a quote lands, you add a file. When the brand changes, you re-export the group. You do not leave a visibly older generation of cards in circulation.

The job is one artboard per testimonial, colocated data, all in one group. One export of the group writes the set.

Give Lerret a React component under .lerret/ and optional data. export writes a PNG. Same component, data swapped, many images. There is no batch product, no queue, no orchestrator.

The component is .lerret/social/testimonial.jsx. It shows the quote, name, role, company, and an avatar slot. The shipped testimonial size is 1080×1350. The avatar is a slot on the artboard. The quote is a field. Name, role, and company sit with it.

Data is one artboard per testimonial with colocated data, all in one group. That is bulk pattern 2: many artboards, each with its own .data.json or .data.js, one export captures them all. The set grows as files. Adding a quote is adding an artboard and a data file. You do not open a design tool for a one-off.

The image is a PNG 1080×1350 per testimonial, the shipped testimonial size. One export of the group writes the set.

You use Lerret because the set grows as files. Re-exporting the group after a brand tweak makes the old ones match the new ones. A screenshot from last year will always look like last year. A folder of design-file copies will leave a visibly older generation in circulation.

This is the second of the four bulk patterns: put many artboards in a page or group, each with its own colocated .data.json / .data.js. One export captures them all. The cards are stills from local files. Re-exporting the group after a brand tweak makes the old ones match the new ones.

npx @lerret/cli@latest export

Export the group folder that holds the testimonial artboards. Start a project with npx create-lerret@latest. More in the use cases index.

The testimonial set grows over time as files. Re-exporting the group after a brand tweak makes the old ones match the new ones instead of leaving a visibly older generation of cards in circulation. That is the inventory reason for this case.

The list is stills from local files. One command on the group. Quote, name, role, company, avatar slot.
